It is very easy to get to us here in the Spider House and you will find plenty of smiling Filipinos, who almost all speak English, ready to point you in the right direction if you should lose your way.
There are two airports that service Boracay, Caticlan Airport and Kalibo Airport, and they can both be found on the neighbouring island of Panay.
Caticlan Airport is the closer of the two airports and you can easily reach the Jetty Port in under 5 minutes. The journey costs about php50 by tricycle, which are easy to find at the airport. Currently this is a small airport and planes do not land after dark, so be aware about catching the last flight into Caticlan Airport as delayed flights could get diverted to Kalibo Airport.
Kalibo Airport is the other option and it takes about 1.5 to 2hrs to get to the Jetty Port, where you catch the ferry over to Boracay. You can take a Bus/MiniVan for about php200 or you can take a taxi, but it will cost around php1,500. On a positive side, flights are generally cheaper to Kalibo Airport and flights can also land at night. Kalibo Airport is also an international airport, so there are direct flights from other Asian countries, saving you a stopover in Manila.
From the Jetty Port the boat ride takes about 15 minutes to get to Boracay and they leave every 15 minutes or so. The Journey costs php25 for the boat, php75 for the Environmental Tax and php100 for the Terminal Fee. The first ferry leaves at 5am and they used to go until the sun went down, but now they seem to go as long as there are people wanting to come to the island. Although there will be a surcharge for nighttime crossings and for flights arriving in Kalibo Airport after 8pm, be prepared to have to charter a boat.
Once you arrive at the port on the island of Boracay you can take a tricycle for around php180 to Diniwid Beach where you will find us.
Or just can just book an airport transfer with us and let us take care of everything for you.
